Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Parking for 3-4 vehicles. Service was quick! Food came in less than 10 minutes. But then again, we were the only customers. Dinuguan was thick and rich, and beef nilaga was tender. Portions were a bit small though. Lumpia was warm and crunchy, but a tad sweet. Overall, it was a good lunch!"
"We have a very nice dinner at this restaurant. The Kantaw soup, dinuguan and pork belly kare kare are all very good. The service is good."
"“MAHAW KITA! SANA MAHAW MO DIN AKO!” Haha . . . . . Pedbacks 208 R Mapa St.Mandurriao Iloilo City Kapamahaw ka na bala? If not, dali na! Let’s have an unforgettable morning feast! @Pedbacs! Pamahaw kita! First up, the **Hungarian Sausage** - perfectly spiced and grilled to perfection, bursting with robust flavors in every bite. Served with a “malasado” (under cooked) sunny side up eggs and garlic rice, it was a savory delight that awakened our taste buds! Next, we savored the **Kare-Kare**. This rich, creamy peanut sauce dish, with crispy fried pork and a medley of fresh vegetables, was a heartwarming comfort on a plate. Paired with a side of bagoong, it was an explosion of traditional Filipino flavors! We also tried the Kantaw Baka Sabaw - a rich, beef bone soup that was both hearty and flavorful. The broth was deeply savory, with tender chunks of beef and a perfect balance of spices. It’s the ultimate comfort food, perfect for any time of the day. And, the **Sisig**! Sizzling, crispy, and oh-so-savory. The mix of crunchy and tender pork bits, topped with a hint of tangy sauce, was pure perfection. A breakfast dish that hits all the right spots. All this deliciousness was accompanied by a cup of their smooth **Brewed Coffee**, perfectly balancing out the rich flavors and providing that much-needed caffeine kick. Pedbacs truly knows how to serve up a breakfast that’s both hearty and heavenly. Can’t wait to be back for more! #PamahawKita #Foodie #BreakfastHeaven #Pedbacs #HungarianSausage #KareKare #Sisig #FoodLover #InstaFood #foodstagram"
"First time trying rabbit meat and it was delicious! Latte was good, too."
"Pedbac’s is a hidden gem for bold Pinoy flavors! Aside from their delicious Kanding, Dinuguan and tender Pata, I loved the Pork Kare-Kare, sizzling Pork Sisig, and the surprisingly tasty Rabbit Adobo. Their fried chicken is also a must-try — crispy, juicy, and satisfying. Great food, good portions, and perfect with Coke or Thai milk tea. Definitely worth coming back for!"
"The Goat curry was amazing just fell apart nice ambience in the restaurant and really friendly staff. Thank you so much"
"I really enjoyed my breakfast at Pedbac’s! The food was tasty, filling, and felt like a good home-cooked meal. Serving sizes are generous and worth the price. My personal favorites are their danggit and spam, but you should also try their tapa—it’s definitely a must. Plus, you can get a good cup of coffee for only ₱60. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A nice place to start the day!"
"finally, Bac's is back!! my go to place after a 24h shift when i was on training. the place used to be just a garage with chairs and tables, and great food!! from the early 2000's up to now, still the same delicious, sumptuos flavour of their famous pata/linaga and my all time favorite, the kanding (goat) sarciado. Bac's use to be open between 10am and 2pm only, because their food gets sold out fast. now, they're open until 8pm. so no worries about the inavailability of their menu. a must try!!! cheers!!"
